Rentjewels.com is an online jewelry rental service that offers customers the option to rent jewelry online. A specific set of Taruna Biyani's products needed to be available for rental to buyers as part of an extension of a portal we did for her.
The challenges we had?
Our aim was to create a platform that would allow buyers to book limited-edition jewelry pieces. To rent a jewelry piece, the renter had to pay both a booking fee and a security deposit.A buyer should have the option of sorting, searching, or renting products based on category and length of rental duration.
A Resolution
Administrators had access to a website that provided them with tools for managing their daily product listings, deactivating products, and processing orders.It kept a record of who bought what and how long they needed to wait for it to be returned.A list of expiration dates and automatic reminders were provided to clients and administrators.In the event of a delay in return, the system automatically website recalculated the amount due from the buyer.
